As part of Andy's programme of walks in the Brecon Beacons National Park taking in all of The Nuttalls, those hills over 2000ft, the Wales Outdoors meetup group Adventure Activity South Wales headed over to Llanbedr near Crickhowell for a mega day on the hills.
The group met Andy by The Red Lion pub and then headed off for the climb to the ridge, which was a hot and sweaty affair. That done we had a day in the clouds with just a few easy ups and downs. The weather played ball and despite the forecast most only had a short shower to contend with. The views, because of the clouds threatening, were spectacular and with lots of interest for the photographers in the group.
Andy had planned the day to be a 9am-5pm walk. The group eventually got back to the pub just before 6pm in the main because of delays during the morning. In total the walk was 19 miles over mountainous terrain, or rather, boggy track. Well done everyone and do look out for further walks, advertised here, with Wales Outdoors.
