Wales Outdoors have reviewed this boot before but subsequently to the review I took my pair back to Go Outdoors complaining that the waterproof lining had failed, something I do with most fabric boots as a matter of principle - I mean - if a boot is sold as waterproof then really it ought to be waterproof for a good long time.
However, the boot was comfortable from the get go, like a trainer, flexible and with a good sole also.
For this reason I am recommending this boot to all who are occasional walkers or new to mountain walking. It's a cheap option with a good spec and should last a couple of seasons.
And what do you do when the boots liner fails - go buy a pair of Sealskin Drysocks. They are amazing and will keep your feet warm and dry.
