Join Andy, the Wales Outdoors owner, on Monday 29th May for a gorge adventure in Mid Wales.
He will be returning to the gorge near Llanwrtwd Wells for a spot of floating, swimming, scrambling and jumping in the almost cave like canyon that has no comparison to the rivers of South Wales.
Kit is provided for this small group adventure, just eight Adventure Activity South Wales client places which are very keenly priced at £25pp.
We haven't been to this location for a while as it's a fair hike but it's well worth the travelling time. And there's a great cafe nearby too :)
Here's what the event page says:
'This is my favourite gorge activity, an adventure in Mid Wales that has no comparison in South Wales, so, well worth the drive. The gorge here is narrow with some deep water and steep sides. It is not swimming however, more of a float in an otherworldly environment. We have a late start so as to allow for travelling to Abergwesyn and the gorge itself is a short trip that can be extended by reversing it. Down is easy, upstream is more technical and requires the group to assist each other. All kit is provided, so wetsuits and buoyancy and helmets. Trainers are fine for this activity. There is a good cafe nearby and that will be the meeting point. See you there :)'
